Linda Baker


Mrs. Linda Baker serves as the Director of Coffee County Probation. She has been employed with the Probation Department since 2009. She handles a variety of cases for the department. However, her main focus areas are with domestic violence clients and underage consumption cases. Linda is also responsible for training in the department. She is a supervisor for interns from both the Coffee County Central High School Criminal Justice department as well as the Social Work department at Middle Tennessee State University. Mrs. Baker is a 1998 Middle Tennessee State University graduate. She has a degree in Social Work with a minor in Psychology.
Prior to employment with probation, she worked at the Coffee County Children’s Advocacy Center for a short while as a family advocate. Linda worked with Centerstone Mental Health Center in Tullahoma for ten years as case manager. She worked with adults who had a dual diagnosis of alcohol/drug addiction as well as a mental health diagnosis. Ms. Baker also worked with children with mental health/behavioral issues. She later earned the rank of Children and Youth Team Leader. In 2004, Linda earned the title of Teacher Counselor of the Year for Children and Family Services with Centerstone throughout middle Tennessee.
Mrs. Baker is a lifelong resident of Coffee County. Her early years of education were with the Coffee County School System. She has been involved in many community related advisory boards and community events. Her motto is, “be the change you want to see in the world.”
